The Destiny Howard Duo

The Destiny Howard Duo combines a polished, sultry voice with dynamic, soulful guitar playing to breathe new life into standards and favorites alike. Their highly adaptable style creates a warm and comfortable groove that lends itself to intimate restaurant environments and concert halls alike.

Destiny Howard quickly became a hometown favorite from her many stand out performances as the lead singer of the UWF Jazz Band. This propelled her almost overnight into many guest spots with local musicians, including Gino Rosaria, The Guffman Trio, Infusion, and Nobius. Her versatile, sweet style allows her to excel in many genres, while still leaving each performance with her unmistakable and effortless mark. Her passion for jazz started at an early age, shaped by legends like as Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee, as well as modern jazz innovators like Melody Gardot, Norah Jones, and Diana Krall. With her lifelong experience brightening concert halls and her comfortable, warm tone, she is able to provide a uniquely beautiful soundscape that brings old standards into the modern era and transports contemporary pieces back to a nearly forgotten time of the legendary performances in the 1920's speakeasies.

Robert Heeke was born and raised in the panhandle with a guitar in hand. His melodic, technical style made him a favorite at local Pensacola venues like the Lee House, the Fish House, and FIve Sisters' Blues cafe. His relaxed, blues infused style brings a unique take to every song, giving nods to his biggest influences including Gary Clark Jr., Jack Johnson, and Josh Martin.
